Troy Church Preteen Parents,
I (Colby) wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news with you—Troy Church now has a Preteen Ministry Intern for the Fall Semester! He will be leading and teaching our preteen students each week.
His name is Nate Richardson. Nate is an education major at Troy University. This summer, he’ll be serving with Summer Beach Project, and in the fall, he’ll complete his education internship at G.W. Long. Following that, he plans to spend 18 months serving on the mission field.
Despite his busy schedule, Nate expressed a strong desire to invest in our preteens and has already taught their class a few times this semester.
With our Preteen group continuing to grow, the elders and I agreed that having an intern who can dedicate a few focused hours each week to meet the needs of this ministry is a valuable and timely addition.
With that being said, Nate will be serving in this role duing the Fall 25 semester! He has also agreed to serve a couple weeks before he leaves for summer beach project, so he will be leading the group the next couple of Wednesday nights!
